Overview
We are looking for a skilled Website Success Associate to join our team and help ensure all of our customers are quickly and easily able to find success online. The ideal candidate will have experience in WordPress, have excellent customer service skills and have a good general understanding of website design basics. Responsibilities include building sites for customers using DreamHost's site builder products.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for building basic customer sites using the DreamHost site builder tools
Responsible for providing feedback about site builder software and processes.
Maintain open communication with Technical Support team leaders in order to create proactive solutions for common issues or trends
Use quick thinking and keen troubleshooting skills to analyze and resolve customer issues via internal ticket system
Answer customer questions by applying knowledge of WordPress, DreamHost's site builder software and internal policies and procedures
Escalate complex problems to appropriate staff member or department
Help customers identify and resolve issues with DreamHost’s site builder products
Job requirements
Ability to quickly and repeatedly deliver production-quality sites that serve the customer’s focus and further their success
Ability to work autonomously in diverse, fast-paced virtual team environments
Ability to clearly communicate with peers, supervisors, and with customers who may be lacking in technical skills
A commitment to quality and a meticulous approach (follow directions?)
Customer service focused, able to maintain patience with potentially trying customers
Good judgment and decision-making skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Basic understanding of Web Hosting
Basic understanding of WordPress
Basic familiarity with Linux command-line
Ability to manage and deliver on multiple builds concurrently
Ability to type 45+ WPM
